8LUG Truck Gear is proud to announce the Black Ops Diesel Exhaust Wastegate Kit for the 6.7l Cummins

BOD wastegate kits are designed to reduce harmful power robbing Drive Pressures. The 6.7 is equipped with a VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) which has shown itself to be inefficient in properly evacuating the increased volumes of exhaust gasses produced by a Mild to Heavy Modified 6.7 cummins engine. Installation of the External Wastegate Kit allows the harmful exhaust gasses to be vented properly instead of causing increased cylinder pressures, which have been directly linked to head gasket failures. Insurance for your head gasket are the primary purpose of the EWG kits but a positive side effect is a increase in usable torque. Increased drive pressures create additional parastatic loss. Installing an EWG kit is very effective protection and prevention of very expensive engine repairs and an inherent benefit of an increase of useable torque.

Complete Removal of OEM EGR cooler is required!!!!!!!!!!

Mating flanges are 304L stainless steel

17-7 PH Stainless Steel actuator spring gives consistent pressure at high temperature, High temperature silicone reinforced actuator diaphragm.

High temp alloy is used for valve and 347SS valve housing will offer longer product life compared to competing designs. 

• In cab boost controller with all needed tubing
• Stylish stainless steel braided flex dump tube rated for 1500* at over 400psi continuous use.

The BOD kit is the only kit that comes complete with all the hardware you need to return the wastegate expelled gasses into the main down pipe. This step of the installation is optional but all needed hardware for the complete install is included in the kit. Regulators will come at a preset operating psi of 35 for a very accurate starting point or for those that do not have the appropriate gauges to set opening pressures. (Gauges are recommended for ideal install but not required) Your kit will come with full installation instruction (pics Included).

Also as an option for those customers ordering a BOD EWG kit that have not yet deleted their EGR cooler you have the option to add the additional parts needed to delete your EGR cooler. Just mark the box at the top when ordering. This will include the front plate,gasket,coolant hose,and clamps, giving you the most complete EWG kit available.
