This Shock Package from 8 LUG Truck Gear utilizes Bilstein shocks that were specifically designed for lifted trucks. They use the largest available piston diameter to provide superior handling and performance. The Bilstein 5100 shock uses their patented digressive valving that instantly reacts to changing surface conditions for maximum comfort and control on or off-road.

My stock 2500 drives substantially better with these shocks. It's a big improvement in the road-holding and handling department. The truck seems to recover instantly from bumps, it bounced all over the place before. Didn't notice much difference in a straight line (the jarring that clintd talked about), but I don't have the big rig wheels that he's using, either.

Well worth the money. Bilstein did their homework, these are the shocks that should have come with the truck from the factory. Very pleased.

i recently put a heavy ranch hand front bumper on my 09 srw 4x4 2500.front corners would dip while turning so put a set of the 5100,s on and it sure made a difference plus a lot better ride.cant wait to put the 10.5ft overhead camper on and see how it does.worth the money imho.

When ordering these shocks I was unsure if they were going to help me or not. I have a 08 3500 mega 4x4 DRW. I had recently put a set of 22.5 ten lug wheels on the truck which made it much rougher ride as expected. The smallest bump was magnified by the much harder tires I was now running. I decided to give the Bilstein 5100's a shot to see what happened. It was well worth the money. I dont get the hard jarring hit that makes the truck feel like it is being torn apart anymore. For the money these are a great shock and greatly improves the ride of these hard riding Dodges. I dont think anybody would be disappointed with the money spent on these.
