8LUG Truck Gear is proud to announce the new steering linkage upgrade from Pure Performance Suspension!

The new Pure Performance Ultimate Steering Assemblies are far over due for the Dodge Ram 2003-up HD 4x4 Community. No longer will Ram HD owners have to deal with the dreaded inverted Y or upside down T steering geometry the factory provides. The new Pure Performance steering geometry converts the steering to have an independent drag link and independent tie rod. This is much more robust. Not only is the geometry more robust, but so are the components. The new Pure Performance H.D. Drag Link is made from 1 ½” solid alloy steel while the Tie Rod is made from 1 5/8” solid chromoly steel. The strength of these components will never let you down.

There are two steering systems available based on lift height. There is a 4 to 6 inch steering correction and a 7 to 9 inch steering correction. The required tie rod ends are sold separately and must be purchased at a local outlet. By using tie rod ends, the steering systems are 100% 50 states legal. Not too many steering correction system out there can say that. Please see below for the requirements to ensure compliant steering geometry. • Requires 3 1/8" to 3 3/8" track bar drop bracket. Pure Performance Kit number PP03042 or functional equivalent.
• The Tie Rod Ends for the steering assembly must be purchased separately.
• You will need the following TRE’s ; 2005- Pres. F250 4x4 TRE’s at the Passenger Side Knuckle for the tie rod and drag link, 2009+ Ram HD 4x4 quick adjuster and driver’s side TRE (Mopar Part Numbers, 68034233AA and 68038054AC), Ram HD TRE at the pitman arm (Mopar Part Number 68036940AC).
• Easily upgraded to the 7 to 9 inch system.
