The Pure Performance 8.0 Inch X Factor Long Arm System for the Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 is the best bang for the buck 8 inch long arm system on the market. This system is a full featured long arm system with the industry's strongest components and best design by far. The lower control arms are 2" solid alloy steel while the upper control arms are made of 1 5/8" solid alloy steel. The control arms feature a massive 1” shank, 2 ½” head, ½” wall thickness chromoly, rebuild-able spherical joint at the axle that takes up all the twisting found from high demands off-road while at the frame, they utilize the industry’s largest control arm bushing to provide a nice, smooth, quiet, in cab ride quality.

The long arms connect to two high clearance bolt in sub-frame cross members made from ¼” thick laser cut steel and are precision welded. The Pure Performance Sport Tuned progressive rate front coil springs provide a great highway ride and perform extremely well when pushed off-road! The steering geometry corrections are perfect and provide a precise – bump steer free operation! The large track bar drop bracket and cross brace assembly properly centers the front axle. The new steering linkage design rids the Ram HD of the poor factory steering and provides a near indestructible drag link - tie rod combination that are 100% independent of one another.

The 1” solid billet aluminum sway bar end links not only look great, they feature high quality self lubricating 5/8 chromoly heim joints on each end to stand up to the off-road abuse! The lift in the rear is accomplished by a simple heavy duty fabricated steel lift block with a taper built in to correct the rear drive line angles. A rear stainless steel brake line and u-bolts completes the rear end package. For a limited time, a track bar bracket cross brace will be included free of charge.

General Notes:

*Provides approximately 8” of lift up front and 6” of lift in the rear for a nice level stance.

**Requires removal of the OEM lower control arm mounts off the frame.

****Gas models may require exhaust cross over pipe modifications.

*****Front drive line vibration may occur.

******Provisions have been made for a 10 degree clocking ring. (see AP indexing ring kit available below)

*******Vehicles equipped with a carrier bearing in the rear driveshaft may require a seperate carrier bearing drop kit.

********Gas models will require redoing the front cross over pipe to allow clearance for the front drive shaft.

Steering Notes:

• The Tie Rod Ends for the steering assembly must be purchased separately.
• You will need the following TRE’s ; 2005- Pres. F250 4x4 TRE’s at the Passenger Side Knuckle for the tie rod and drag link, 2009+ Ram HD 4x4 quick adjuster and driver’s side TRE (Mopar Part Numbers, 68034233AA and 68038054AC), Wrangler JK TRE at the pitman arm (Mopar Part Number 52060049AE).
• Requires an approved drop pitman arm. If you already have one, please contact us for compatibility. If you do not have one, we sell them separately as listed below

• 17” Wheel 4.75” Max. Back Spacing
• 18” Wheel 4.75” Max. Back Spacing
• 20” Wheel 5.0” Max. Back Spacing

Shock Notes:

It is recommended that high quality shocks be used with all Pure Performance Suspension Systems. The Pure Performance 2.0 or 2 5/8 Prodigy Aluminum Shocks are perfectly tuned for the application. Bilstein 5100’s are also a nice, cost effective choice.
