8LUG Truck Gear is proud to announce the new 2.5" Max Travel System from Pure Performance Suspension.

 

This a great system for Ram owners looking to run up to a 35” tall tires. The front progressive coils are sport tuned for a quality ride on and off the highway. HD adjustable track bar made from 1.5" diameter solid chromoly steel with a high quality 7/8 FK heim joint and the required hardware to upgrade your track bar hardware to 5/8. 

 

The heavy duty adjustable lower control arms provide perfect caster correction and improved axle positioning. The control arms are made from solid alloy steel for the ultimate in strength. After all, it is system designed for an HD. A rebuildable spherical joint is used for the axle connection and a huge bushing is used at the frame connection. This control arm construction greatly enhances the off-road ability while providing a perfectly quiet and smooth ride. The new billet aluminum adjustable extended sway bar end links feature spherical joints on both ends to improve off-road performance and maintain a very tight on highway feel!

 

The rear lift is provided by a set of Deaver Mini Packs. The Pure Performance 2.5” Max Travel System may not be the cheapest 2.5” system for your Ram 2500 HD 4x4, however, it is the most cost effective one that will not let you down. Shock Notes: 

It is recommended that high quality shocks be used with all Pure Performance Suspension Systems. Bilstein 5100’s as listed below are a great choice. For an even better shock, The Pure Performance 2.0 or 2 5/8 Prodigy Aluminum Shocks are perfectly tuned for the application and will be available shortly. 

 

What does a mini spring pack do for you?

There are several ways to raise the back of your vehicle. A lift block is the most economic way. A high end, full leaf spring pack such as a Deaver Leaf Spring Pack is nice, but is pricey and may not meet the needs of the average truck owner who wants to be able to haul loads as well as play off-road. There is also a standard add a leaf which goes someplace in the OEM leaf spring pack to aid in re-arching the OEM springs, provide some extra load capacity, but will slowly sag out over time! Thus, the mini-pack was born. A properly designed mini-pack works in conjunction with the OEM leaf spring to return the leaf spring to a perfect leaf spring model of what is known as a “constant stress beam”. A mini spring pack such our the custom Pure Performance Pack manufactured by Deaver Spring, provides some lift simply because you are adding some leafs to the bottom of the pack, and the mini pack also properly aids in helping the OEM leaf spring carry loads! But the big thing that it does, is that it properly aids the OEM pack for its intended purpose in such a manor that improves the overall quality of the spring and performance without the harsh adverse effects of a heavy over load spring. Thus, improving ride quality, improving spring life, and improving off-road performance.
